Our Story

Dream came true!

I started as a part-time worker at OSAKA SUSHI HOUSE in January 2016 and had enjoyed working because cooking is really my passion. My strong desire had put me to learn a lot in this job like making rolled sushi and cooking different kinds of menu and had shared also some recipe that I know for our hot meals to my employer. I suggested also to make different variety of rolled sushi which was really a success.

Within three years of working together with my employer ,he trusted me already and let me do the job from opening to closing. It’s like I already own and running the business and it appeared to everyone am the one managing as I had contributed much to it.

That’s true because in the corner of my mind I certainly dream of it. I wish I could have a business of my own but a bit different compared to my employer has. Want to create and enhance my own recipe and technique in cooking. Had fantasized not to stay forever as a simple worker only but to run and manage a business of my own in order to help and assist my husband to support our daily needs and expenses.




There was a time I found a chance of starting a business of making rolled sushi and selling Filipino food in Waipawa but was discouraged by the thought of not having enough capital and full of uncertainties of introducing it to the public as I am only a neophyte in putting up a business.

My beloved husband alleviate my grief of not fulfilling this plan by giving me a hope of waiting for the time my employer will give up and sell his business in the future I just smiled thinking it would be impossible. It didn’t occur to my mind it will become a reality as after two weeks my employer had informed me that he wanted to sell already his business.

Brought this matter to my husband and he became interested. He decided to talk and made an offer to my employer and they agreed. Finally. a realization of a dream came true I acquired it and now operating under my management.
